August 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Ratan Jain-Priyadarshan duo has always spelled magic at the box office with all 4 of their projects –Hungama, Hulchul, Garam Masala and De Dana Dan turning out to be super hits.

Says a trade analyst “The Ratan Jain –Priyadarshan combo has always churned out family entertainers –that have worked in their favor. Hulchul and Garam Masala have been iconic comedies and did fantastic business at the box office”

Venus recently announced their forthcoming project Bullet Train with Priyadarshan who steps out of his comfort zone to direct the magnum opus that promises to be one of the slickest action flicks of recent times.

Says Ratan Jain ” Priyadarshan and Venus have a longstanding professional relationship and we also share a great working rapport .All of Priyadarshan films have been comedies but this time around he wanted to break the mould and work on something different. That’s when we thought of the concept of Bullet Train”

Breaking the stereotype for this particular project Priyadarshan will be seen working with actors he has never worked with before –Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani, Mohanlal and Kangana Ranuat.
