London, March 23 (IANS) Pop diva Madonna is moving back to London after her less-than-a-year stay in New York.
The singer had shifted to New York when her marriage with filmmaker Guy Ritchie hit the rocks. But she has rediscovered her passion for all things British.
This happened as she prepared to direct her new film “W.E.”, about the 1930s tale of Edward VIII abdicating the throne to marry his forbidden love, American divorcee Wallis Simpson, reported thesun.co.uk
“The Big Apple hasn’t gone sour. Madonna has just rediscovered her interest in Britain. She still owns her place in Marylebone and will be moving back there,” said a source.
“She’s going to be filming her new movie about Wallis Simpson in London so it made sense for her to move back,” added the source.
