Florida, Jan 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Florida woman Cynthia Bettis-Ware was so upset, and agitated when her boyfriend changed the channel, while she was watching American Idol, that she stabbed him. She is now being charged with attempted murder. The 52-year-old Cynthia Bettis-Ware even argued with her 47 year old boyfriend Kevin Johnson, about the recent developments in the reality show, prior to the stabbing. To put an end to the argument, Kevin Johnson then changed the channel, and subsequently went to bed.

Apparently this infuriated his girlfriend Cynthia Bettis-Ware so much, that she got hold of a 25 cm butcher’s knife, and then allegedly stabbed Kevin 5 times on his back, and twice on his chest as well. And then she scalded him with a cup of hot chocolate as well. Kevin then managed to take the knife away from Cynthia Bettis-Ware, and ran into the parking area of the motel where they were staying. However the enterprising Cynthia Bettis-Ware got hold of another knife, and then ran behind him again. The ordeal only came to an end when the agile neighbors phoned the police, and they rescued Kevin Johnston. Cynthia Bettis-Ware was then subsequently arrested, and also charged with first-degree attempted murder.
