Five killed in Chhattisgarh road accident
October 12th, 2010 - 12:29 am ICT by IANSRaipur, Oct 11 (IANS) At least five people were killed and several injured Monday in a road accident in Chhattisgarh, police said.
The accident took place in Bilaspur district, some 100 km from capital Raipur, when a crowded van carrying pilgrims collided head on with a truck on National Highway 200.
Officials at the police headquarters here said the injured were taken to a government hospital at Bilaspur town. A case has been registered against the driver of the Hyva truck.
