Five Hannah Montana movie songs shortlisted for Oscars
December 17th, 2009 - 2:08 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, Dec 17 (ANI): Hannah Montana: The Movie is leading the Oscar’s Best Song List, with five of its tunes being shortlisted.
Disney’s Princess & The Frog comes next, with four of its tunes making it to the list of 63 in contention, reports Contactmusic.
The Academy Awards bosses are have also shortlisted two songs each from Crazy Heart, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Where The Wild Things Are.
A maximum of two songs may be nominated from any one film.
The Oscar nominations will be announced on 2 February (10) and the Academy Awards will be handed out on 7 March (10). (ANI)
