Fisher Price to recall 2.8 million of toys

fish Oct 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Popular children’s toy manufacturer Fisher-Price has issued a recall of already sold toys. The recall became necessary as a result of safety concerns over children who play with those toys.

10 million toys were recalled in the United States alone and those toys included high chairs, which has reportedly caused serious injuries to children, with seven of them needing minor surgeries.

The manufacturer has different brands in the UK such as Basic Healthy Care Cow and Moon, Flutterby Dream, Aquarium Healthy Care, etch other products by the manufacturer include inflatable balls, which have valves that can cause choking in children when removed.

According to reports there were 46 incidents involving the toys, in which the valves were coming off. “These include 14 reports of the valve found in a child’s mouth and three reports of a child beginning to choke. No injuries have been reported,” the company said.

Recalls have also been issued for toys which were on the market between April and September known as Little People Wheelies Stand ‘n’ Play Rampway because choking concerns from its removal wheels.
