Aug 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The famous actress Hillary Duff was married on Sunday night in Santa Barbara, California, to her long time boyfriend, pro hockey player Mike Comrie, which had media and fans everywhere frantically grasping for a chance at the first photos of the event.

The first photos which have been released are not the official wedding photos, but are of lower quality. Hillary and Mike can be seen saying their vows under an arch of white roses, with their close friends and family members around them at sunset.

Hillary is seen wearing a very beautiful Vera Wang long, white, strapless dress. Her hair was brushed up into an elegant bun with a ethereal veil donning it. Mike was wearing a black Tux whose maker is yet unknown.

The twenty minute long ceremony took place at the San Ysidro Ranch , which is where John F Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline went for their honeymoon. The two young newlyweds are off on their own honeymoon on a private jet.

Hillary and Mike were engaged in Hawaii when Mike, who plays for the Edmonton Oilers gave his bride to be a one million dollar engagement ring. Mindy Weiss was their wedding planner, who also worked for Gwen Steffani, Adam Sandler, and Jessica Simpson in the past. The two will begin their new life together in the 3.85 million dollar home which they purchased back in June.
