First Look at ‘Scream 4′ With David Arquette & Courteney Cox
January 20th, 2011 - 11:42 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonJan 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has been fifteen years since the movie ‘Scream’ came out in theaters, changing the world of slashers films forever, and beginning a new Hollywood romance which would grab the hearts of fans everywhere. Now comes the fourth film in the “Scream” series, which could be the last for the couple, since they decided to split up a few months ago.
In the latest “Scream” film, the thirty nine year old Arquette and the fourty six year old Cox will pick back up with their characters, Sheriff Dewey Riley, and Gale Weathers. The couple are now married in the film, and will have to deal with yet another return of the killer with the ghost faced mask, after a long sabbatical.
Along with Arquette and Cox, Neve Campbell will also be returning to the “Scream” storyline. The rest of the cast will be new, with such names as Hayden Panettieree, Emma Roberts, and Rory Culkin.
Even though the return is bittersweet for Arquette, he shared with ‘People’ that it was also a good thing. “It was very cathartic for me going back to where it all started. In this industry, it doesn’t happen a lot where you’re involved in a project that spans 14 years. It’s really been amazing.”
