First look at Bye Bye Bangkok
September 11th, 2010 - 11:20 pm ICT by Sampurn WireSeptember 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Here is a brief overview about the latest Rudranil-Locket starrer Bye Bye Bangkok, this movie is supposed to be one of the biggest romantic comedies that will be released this year. The movie revolves around a clandestine relationship between a driver and his mistress.
Rudranil Ghosh plays the role of the driver who runs away with his employer’s wife to Bangkok and sign into a hotel as husband and wife. We caught the cast while they were shooting for a particularly naughty scene. The scene required Rudranil and Locket to roll around in bed, exchange sweet nothings and share a single French fry.
Commenting about her character (Anwesha) in the movie, Locket said, “There’s no illicit relationship between Anwesha and Sadhu. Anwesha has come to keep an eye on her husband. But Sadhu thinks they are a couple.” Rudranil commented on his character’s true motives, “Sadhu is happy that his memsaheb has come to Bangkok with him. He asks her why she is splurging so much because his monthly salary is Rs 4000. Deep down he plans to make love to her!”
The outdoor shots for the movie have been canned in Bangkok already and the indoor scenes are now being shot at the HHI. Director Aniket is positive that the movie will be ready for its theatrical release by December this year. We hope this movie manages to tickle the funny bone of the Bengali audience.
