Red Studio 5 has thought to quench the thirst perennially and have come up with Firefall. Now, what has Firefall got that ain’t ready and already available in abundance online? It is a free first shooter game that offers quality weapons for players to use.

The players will take solace in the fact that the game does not come with the burden of having the stale and outdated look of a free MMO and is packaged well. The game was unveiled by Red Studio 5 at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle on Sep. 3, Friday.

The game has already raised a considerable hue and cry among the MMO addicts and has become one of the most widely searched content on the web over the weekend. Firefall’s developers have formatted the game in such a way so as to combine intense as well as competitive multiplayer co-op play on a large scale.

The demo offers a glimpse of a futuristic earth. A trio of sci-fi soldiers have been burdened with the responsibility of overlooking and protecting some mining equipment that is to be brought in by a swamp of bugs. Though there is not much novelty in this aspect as the scene resembles a script out of a host of other such ventures that have gone in the past, the one thing to hold on would be the fact that it is free.
