Filmmaker Cheryl Hines defends actresses opting for plastic surgery
April 29th, 2009 - 5:00 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Apr 29 (ANI): Filmmaker Cheryl Hines, who has directed the Meg Ryan-starrer ‘Serious Moonlight,’ has come to the defence of actresses going for cosmetic surgery, claiming that they should go for it if it makes them happy.
Hines, of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ fame, has taken her first step to film direction with ‘Moonlight’.
And at the film’s premiere on April 25, Hines, 43, gave a thumbs-up to plastic surgery.
“You know what, if it makes you happy, do it. I don’t care. Whatever works,” Fox News quoted him as saying.
Apparently, Ryan, who is playing the lead in ‘Moonlight’, has been questioned in celebrity gossip circles for having had too much of it.
But when the ‘Harry Met Sally’ star was questioned about whether she felt pressure as a woman in Hollywood to stay young-looking, she brushed it off. (ANI)
