Mar 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is some real good news for all the fans of comedy film series “Harold & Kumar” as the third segment of the popular series might be released this holiday season. The upcoming third installment of the comedy movie which has been titled “A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas” is set be filmed this summer, according to recent reports.

It has been revealed that actor John Cho, who edges one of the lead characters of Harold in the comedy flick, has stated in a recent interview that the shooting for the forthcoming version is likely to start from the month of June this year. While talking about the upcoming venture, the “Star Trek” star further revealed that the script of the movie is almost ready although he has not read it as yet. Moreover, the actor also divulged that the third version of the flick would be focusing on the time frame of few years from the last film “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, which was released in 2008.

The 37 year old actor also added that the upcoming movie would attempt to ‘honor’ the tradition of holiday movie genre. At the same time, John Cho also talked about the possible obstacles that might pose a hindrance in the making of the much anticipated movie while pointing out that the director has not been finalized as yet. Moreover, there is also a possibility of a scheduling issue with actor Kal Penn, who played the role of Kumar in the last two editions of the comedy flick as he has withdrawn from his acting career to work in President Barack Obama’s administration.
