Film producer Dino De Laurentiis dies at 91
November 12th, 2010 - 1:39 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov 12 (ANI): Legendary producer Dino De Laurentiis has passed away in Los Angeles aged 91.
His daughter Raffaella De Laurentiis said in a statement that her father was surrounded by family when he died at his home in Beverly Hills. She did not give a cause of death.
“Cinema has lost one of its greats,” the BBC quoted Walter Veltroni, former mayor of Rome and a founder of the International Rome Film Festival, as saying.
“The name of Dino De Laurentiis is tied to the history of cinema,” Veltroni added. (ANI)
