Film festival ends in Lahore
April 21st, 2011 - 1:38 pm ICT by IANSLahore, April 21 (IANS) Award winning documentaries were shown on the last day of a film festival here Wednesday.
Vasaakh Film Festival at the Forman Christian College (FCC) came to an end with a cultural evening, the Daily Times reported Thursday.
The students performed folk dance, Kathak and Punjabi tappas. They also presented classical, jazz and Punjabi songs.
Selected South Asian award-winning documentaries were screened during the festival.
The first documentary to be screened was “Creacioun Collectiva”, which depicted the lifestyles of people working for theatre.
The other documentaries were “Kalu”, “One Show Less” and “The Way of the Road”.
The screening session came to an end with the promo of a horror movie, “Cheekh”, made by the FCC students.
