Fights galore in ‘WWE money in the bank 2011′
July 18th, 2011 - 10:23 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattWashington, July 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A total of seven fights took place during the WWE Money in the Bank 2011 contest. CM Punk took on John Cena in the 6th match of the day.
In the first fight which was the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Daniel Bryan beat contest from Sin Cara, Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes and Kane to be the winner.
In the Divas Championship, Kelly Kelly defeated Brie Bella to win the contest. Big Show and Mark Henry entered the cage for the third match. Henry ended up winning the contest. After that contest, the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match was held. The contestants were Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, R-Truth, Alex Riley, The Miz and Rey Mysterio. At the end of the contest, Alberto Del Rio ended up with the title.
The next contest was between Randy Orton and Christian. The two were fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship title. The contest was ended when Orton who is the champion kicked Christian in the balls. After the disqualification of Orton, Christian was declared the winner of the contest.
When John Cena came up against CM Punk, the crowd was hugely behind the latter. After the contest, Punk was declared the winner.
