Fifth instalment of ‘The Fast and The Furious’ series announced
April 20th, 2009 - 11:35 pm ICT by IANSLondon, April 20 (IANS) Just when audiences were getting into the driving mode with the recently released fourth instalment in the “The Fast and The Furious” franchise, a fifth movie in the series has been announced.
Hollywood actor Paul Walker, who played Brian O’Connor in the first, second and fourth film, has revealed that the next chapter will be shot in Brazil, reports thesun.co.uk.
“This (the fourth movie) was supposed to be it - but without question, Vin (Diesel) and I will be coming back, we’re making the fifth one and we’re going to Brazil,” he said.
He added that “everybody was surprised” by the success of “Fast & Furious” (the fourth instalment) at the box office, but insisted that “the best one (hasn’t) been done yet”.
