“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” Famed Jeffrey Jones Charged With Felony

jones3July 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American actor Jeffrey Jones has been charged by the Los Angeles prosecutors for failing to update his registration as a sex offender registration information. The actor who had acted in many well known movies and television series has to register himself as a sex offender every year. Reports claim that the Los Angeles police arrested Jeffrey Jones on June 23 on suspicion of failing to update his registration within five days of his birthday last year on Sep 28. The actor was arrested by the police on June 23 according to records and was released on a bail of $20,000.

The actor who is best known for his portrayal of the character of the dean of students in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” was first arrested by the Florida police back in 2003 on one count of felony charge for employing a 14-year-old boy to pose naked for some sexually explicit photographs. As per reports, the actor had paid the boy named Steven C. twice to pose naked with cowboy hats and stuffed animals for photo sessions that were held at his Hollywood Hills home. The actor at that time had pleaded no contest and was ordered by the court to register himself as a sex offender. He was not only ordered to undergo counseling but also put under 5 years of probation.

Prior to the present charge, back in 2004 Jeffrey Jones was arrested in Florida for failing to register as a sex offender in the state of Florida. The actor is at present waiting for arraignment on July 14. No comments were available from the actor or his management company on Wednesday.
