Fergie’s dress shocks all at Grammy Awards 2012

New York, Feb 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Black Eye Peas’ Fergie has been added to the list of the worst dressed stars at the Grammys, thanks to the choice of a bright orange see-through gown. The singer’s underwear could be seen through the dress and that has raised several issues after the event last Sunday.
E! News chose to call the revealed lingerie “granny panties.” Huffington Post however had some stronger words for the singer. The website wrote that, “A beautiful woman dressed in a pumpkin-colored lace beach cover up over an old fashioned bikini. Whoever told her that she looked wonderful needs to be hooked up to a lie detector before giving future fashion advice.”
Some commentators on the Internet chose to call the dress the “ugliest” ever. Fergie however disagrees with that stating that the outfit is a design by French dressmaker Jean Paul Gaultier. That explanation has so far not been accepted.
She however had some fans come to her rescue online. The biggest praise that she had was the fact that she brought he mother to the event. Her mother was her date at the event which was held last Sunday and aired live by the American network CBS.
Fergie’s original name is Stacy Ann Ferguson.
