Fergie To Pay Tribute To Slash In Sunset Strip Musical Concert

fergieAug 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Pop singing sensation Fergie is all geared up to pay tribute to Slash, the former lead guitarist of the American hard rock band “Guns N’ Roses”. Slash drafted her as a vocalist for his “Beautiful Dangerous” album and it seems that the “Black Eyed Peas” singer is all set to return the favor by honoring Slash in a concert in Los Angeles. The media reports that the duo will perform in Sunset Strip Musical Concert next week.

The aficionados of both the celebrities are waiting eagerly for the festival in House of Blues in Los Angeles. The former “Guns N’ Roses” guitarist was not available for any comments but Fergie seems really excited when she told a reputed media source that her inner “rock chick” will emerge that night when she performs with Slash. Media reports suggest that Fergie is working with organizers on a planned salute to the legendary guitarist at the music festival where she plans to join him on stage. Reportedly, the rock duet will take place on August 28 at House of Blues. The official website of the event reads that the highly anticipated performance will take place on August 28, Saturday at the House of Blues.

Slash had been involved with Hollywood’s famous “Sunset Strip” which honors icons who have contributed to the music industry. The three days of music fest will be graced by many who’s who of the music industry. The tribute will reportedly include words from Slash’s close friends, Fergie and Slash will be joined by Alter Bridge’s vocalist Myles Kennedy during the performance. The other bands which will be performing in the festival are “The Smashing Pumpkins”, “Common”, “Semi Precious Weapons”, “Neon Trees”, “Steel Panther” and “Big B”.
