Fergie honoured for charity work

London, June 25 (IANS) Hip hop group Black Eyed Peas’ star Fergie has been honoured for her humanitarian work at an AIDS charity event.
The singer was the guest of honour at the amfAR Inspiration Gala held at the city’s Pavillon Gabriel. She received the organisation’s Piaget award of inspiration for her support of AIDS research programmes.
The other stars at the gala included singer Kanye West and actresses Diane Kruger and Dita Von Teese.
