Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fergie, the “Black Eyes Peas” singer has said that while she performs in the Super Bowl halftime on Sunday, she will ensure that she is not subjected to any kind of wardrobe malfunctioning. The organizers of Super Bowl are also making sure that no such embarrassing incident takes place this time, as after seven years they have finally re-acquired the guts to call a female artist to perform at the event.

Fergie said that it would be like a challenge, as she would like to add some sex appeal to the show and yet act decently enough to avoid any such mishap. The “Black-Eyed Peas” front runner also added that she does not want to get into trouble because of wardrobe malfunctioning. Therefore, she is reportedly trying her best to take some preventive measures before entering the stage during the half time. According to the sources, she would be using duct tape. She also plans to groove the audiences with her hit number “My Hump” during the half time.

In 2004, Janet Jackson performed at the same event, but had to witness the most humiliating moment of her life, after her shirt slipped off, while performing with Justin Timberlake on the stage. Her bare chest was not only exposed to several other live audiences, but was also distributed all over the internet. The organizers of Super Bowl resolved to invite only the male singers and bands to perform during the half time since then. They invited Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Prince, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, from 2005 to 2009 consecutively. As this was a risk taken by the organizers after seven years, Fergie feels that she has a huge responsibility.
