New York, Jan 10 (ANI): Josh Duhamel and Fergie have closed the book on a tough year by saying ‘I do’ for the second time.

The couple, who stayed together in the aftermath of Duhamel’s cheating scandal in October, renewed their vows in a top secret ceremony this week, RadarOnline.com reports.

The highly guarded event took place in Santa Barbara’s Bacara Resort, reports The New York Daily News.

“They were both dressed nicely and walked right out to the bluff outside the hotel where weddings often take place,” the source said. “A minister was waiting for them. Fergie was crying and seemed very emotional.”

Duhamel has dismissed claims by stripper Nicole Forrester that the two had a affair while he was on location for a film in Atlanta.

Later Forrester apologized to the Black Eyed Peas, adding, “She’s standing by her man, so obviously I’m not wrecking the home too bad, huh?”
