London, May 26 (ANI): Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring has been named The Greatest Movie Of All Time in a new poll.
Based on the book by author JRR Tolkien, the Lord of the Rings trilogy made 1.5 billion pounds at the box office.
Coming in second on the list was the Tim Robbins-Morgan Freeman starrer The Shaw shank Redemption.
Following closely in third place was the hit 1978 film Grease starring Olivia Newton-John and Morgan Freeman.
The top five was rounded off by Steven Spielbergs ET and George Lucas Star Wars which came in fourth and fifth place respectively.
The poll, of 10,000 movie buffs, was conduceted by internet researchers onepoll.com, reports the Mirror.
