grantNov. 1 (THIANDIAN NEWS) CBS News aired on the 31st of October the mysterious death of Faylene Grant. The police are still clueless as to how she died. There are various speculations that it might have been murder, suicide or accident, but no conclusive evidence have been found to pinpoint the reason of her death. Faylene was found dead in her bathtub. Postmortem reports said that she had drowned to death. Ample amounts of muscle relaxing drugs and sleeping pills were found in her blood. Since the death in 2001, the mystery hasn’t been solved. While many things point to the fact that she had been murdered, even more clues say that she had committed suicide, not the least of which is that she had written in her journal that she was going to die.

Faylene Grant was a Mormon, happily married to Doug Grant, whom she knew from her high school and married after she got divorced from her first husband. She had two kids. Her marriage began to turn awry after a new receptionist joined Doug’s office, who was a leading nutritionist. Faylene claimed that she had seen visions that he was cheating on her.

Jenny, her daughter, read out on the show from her mother’s journal. She asserted that it was her step-father who had indeed killed her mother. Faylene’s journal said that she loved to be with her family and children but there was a need for her to go to the other world. She had earlier met with an alleged accident when she had gone on a vacation after her second marriage with Doug. She claimed seeing a vision, following which she went to look over a cliff and fell 60 feet, but was miraculously alive.
