Fashion week in Chennai gears up
November 19th, 2009 - 2:57 am ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )The Chennai International Fashion Week (CIFW), which will be taking place from 14th to 20th December at the Hotel Le Royal Meridien, will have 30 fashion shows, 60 fashion models from 10 countries and 1500 outfits.
The Fashion Week will have esteemed fashion designers as well as newbie designers. Some of the important designers participating will be Vikram Phadnis, Neeta Lulla, Sidney Sladen, Pria Kataria Puri, Aslam Khan, Rahul and Gunjan, Jason and Anshu, etc.
The event will emphasize on the fashions of the season and get the new designers to really bring out their talent. The fashion week has been held to give Indian designers the chance to showcase their designs to the international buyers and establish themselves in the international market.
Gaurav Sharma, the CEO of Stormy Fashion Company is glad they have the support of big designers for this event and is thankful for their help as it builds the reputation of international fashion in Chennai.
