Fashion designer Alexander McQueen hanged himself in wardrobe
February 18th, 2010 - 4:59 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Feb 18 (ANI): British fashion designer Alexander McQueen hanged himself in the wardrobe of his London home after leaving behind a suicide note, an inquest heard.
The 40-year-old designer was found dead at his 1-million-pound flat in London’s Mayfair, reports the Daily Star.
The post-mortem examination revealed that McQueen had died due to asphyxiation and hanging.
Det Insp Armstrong told the hearing in Westminster, central London, that there were no suspicious circumstances.
Coroner Dr Paul Knapman adjourned the case until Wednesday, April 28. (ANI)
