Farrah Fawcett Beverly Hills, Mar 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘Charlie’s Angel’ star Farrah Fawcett had died in June 2009, at the age of 62 years. She was also a reputed TV actress and starred in a number of movies that were exclusively made for the TV. At the 82nd Academy Awards ceremony that was held on the 7th of March 2010, at the Kodak Theatre, there is a section titled ‘in memoriam’ in which the Academy members pay a tribute to all the stars, that the film industry lost, since the last ceremony.

In this section, there was no mention of Farrah Fawcett. It was a glaring omission, and was observed by a number of people in the audience as well. One member of the audience at the Kodak Theatre said that, “Did I miss it, or was Farrah Fawcett not in the memorial tribute?”

Later the movie critic Robert Ebert tweeted on the popular micro-blogging and social networking site twitter that, “No Farrah in the memorial. They have a whole lot of ’splaining to do.”

Farrah Fawcett has been the star of the 1976’s movie “Logan’s Run,” 1986’s movie “Extremities,” 1997’s movie “The Apostle” and 2000’s movie “Dr. T and the Women.”
