Farrah Fawcet’s Iconic Red Swimsuit Now In SmithSonian

Feb 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The belongings of actress Farrah Fawcett will now be seen on the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and the range also includes her iconic red bathing suit which is remembered by her fans till date. The famous image of the yesteryear’s actress clad in the red swim suit appeared in 1976 and it won the heart of the fans instantly. The poster in which the pretty actress flashed her million dollar smile sold in 12 million copies. The website of Smithsonian National Museum confirmed this development. The fans of the actress are sure to get nostalgic at this development.
The donation to the museum will be made by Nels Van Patten and actor Ryan O’Neal who was close to the actress. An original imprint of the poster will be given to the museum along with the script copies of the hit TV series “Charlie’s Angels” given to the actress. Magazines with her picture on the cover will also be shown at the museum as it has been reported. These items are going to be a part of the museum’s popular culture history collections. Brent D. Glass who is the director of the museum said in his speech “Farrah Fawcett has made an enduring impression on American popular culture”. He also said that the museum authorities are happy at receiving the donation.
The actress became famous for the Cannonball Run films and also wooed the viewers and critics for her roles in Six Million Dollar Man. She also acted in The Burning Bed which won Emmy award. The pretty actress passed away at 62 after battling cancer.
