London, April 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Some Royal Wedding fans cannot wait for the 29th of April date. Some enthusiasts have turned the venue of the wedding into a camping site to ensure that they get prime position when the event starts.

They started arriving at the site earlier this week. 56-year-old John Loughrey was the first to arrive at Westminster Abbey on Monday. John wore a T-shirt with the picture of Kate Middleton and Prince William. The T-shirt also has the inscription of “Diana would be proud”. This is not the first time that John has camped outside for a Royal event.

He did the same thing during the wedding of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana about 30 years ago. He was also at the Buckingham Palace in 1986 during the wedding between Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

He plans to stay at his tent until Friday when the wedding takes place.

William and Kate will be marrying in a ceremony that is expected to draw about 1 million tourists into the United Kingdom. Most of the people will watch the event on giant screens that will be erected at the various parks in the country.
