Fan pays $1 million to appear in Lady Gaga’s video
June 24th, 2010 - 7:35 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 24 (IANS) A fan of pop singer Lady Gaga paid $1 million to appear alongside the star in her nine-minute “Alejandro” video.
Arkady, a Russian billionaire can be spotted in the video playing a cop dressed in a black leather hat and coat, reports contactmusic.com.
However, Arkady did not reveal about the deal. “Yes it was me in the clip, but I can’t give any further details,” he said.
The video has attracted criticism for its sexualising of religious imagery, which include the “Poker Face” singer swallowing rosary beads while dressed as a nun.
