Famous Celebrity Apologies:David Letterman Seeing Mental Dr, Apologizes to Rachel Ray
October 12th, 2010 - 2:54 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) David Letterman made a public apology to television chef ‘Rachel Ray’ before the taped session which they had done together aired on Friday night. Rachel’s publicist had sent Letterman an email, asking about the outburst which Letterman aimed at Rachel during the show.
Rachel felt that she had upset Letterman in some way after he rudely insulted her by saying that he saw no point in cooking shows, with implications about the starving people of the world. Ironically, Rachel Ray’s non profit organization ‘Yum-O’ helps feed hungry children in America.
In the apology which he gave to Rachel, David Letterman admitted that he is seeking professional help, and that he is “just nuts.”
“No, I’m not mad at Rachael,” “I’m just nuts. There’s something wrong with me. So, if you see Rachael, tell her I’m sorry. She didn’t do anything wrong. There really is something wrong with me. I don’t know what it is and I’m seeking professional help…Rachael, I’m very sorry. I got carried away. I’ll admit, you had every reason to be alarmed. I’m so sorry.” he stated.
