Family Organizes Kajol’s Godh Bharai On Her Birthday Tomorrow

August 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It’s going to be a double bonanza for Bollywood actress Kajol as her family has planned to perform her “godh bharai’ ceremony tomorrow when the actress celebrates her 35th birthday.
Kajol’s mother Tanuja and her in-laws have planned this joint celebration to take place on the same day. The traditional “dhole ceremony’ will take place in presence of the family members and close relatives. The ceremony is performed to mark the seventh month of pregnancy. Her sister Tanishaa also felt the day to be apt for a double celebration.
A traditional lunch will be followed by the ceremony, which will be attended by only family members. Both the sisters follow lots of Maharashtrian customs as their mother Tanuja was born to a Marathi family.
An excited Tanishaa informed, “As per the custom, mom will present her a saree and will perform a puja. Mom will also cook food for Kajol following the ritual. All of us will be in the traditional attire on the day”.
She added that there will be a cake cutting ceremony for the Kajol. Tanishaa is planning to prepare a huge fruit cake for her doting sister. She has even brought a gift in advance from Greece during her recent visit there.
Wish the bubbly actress and would-be-mother a very happy birthday and “godh bhari’ ceremony in advance!
