Family Guy parodies the movie based on Stephen King’s novel, “Three Kings”

Family Guy’s “Three Kings” episode was telecast on Sunday, on the 10th of May. It is the 15th episode in the 7th season of the television series, Family Guy. The episode begins with Peter chancing upon the writings of Stephen King and he begins to imagine that the members of his family and some of his friends have turned into characters of the most famous work of Stephen King, “Three kings.” Peter, Cleveland, Joe and Quagmire become 12 year old children and they begin on a journey of self discovery. The episode is narrated by Richard Dreyfuss who comes on the show as a part of guest-voicing.

The other voice cast include, Seth MacFarlane as Peter Griffin, Mike Henry as Cleveland, Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin, Seth Green as Chris Griffin, Alex Borstein as Lois Griffin and many more. The other guest voice will include Danny Smith as Stephen King and Roy Scheider as himself among others.

The episode was divided into three parts and the they were “Stand by Me”,” Misery” and “The Shawshank Redemption.” each part parodied a specific section of the film which was based on Stephen King’s novel. One will be mistaken if he or she thinks that the makers have tries to parody Stephen King because the makers have actually ridiculed the movie based on the novel.
