rush-limbaughOct 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much anticipated ‘Family Guy’ episode featuring Rush Limbaugh was aired on October 3. In spite of the show being hilarious, there were some seriously political statements made throughout and the audience had a feeling that neither the liberals nor the conservatives were spared from the digs.

The episode begins with Brian hoping to attend a book signing event by Rush Limbaugh. Though he starts off with the objective of barging into the event and facing off with Rush Limbaugh, the Republican gives him a book and tells him that he should make up his mind after reading it. While returning home with the book Brian faces a gang which wants to beat him up. Rush Limbaugh comes to his rescue and as a return favor Brian actually reads the book given by Rush Limbaugh. After reading the book Brian realizes that conservative Republicanism is the answer and also tries to convince the rest of the family to read the book. He does to Rush Limbaugh and thanks him for opening his eyes. Rush Limbaugh asks him to follow his principles from then on and the show takes the inevitable turn towards ridiculing the politicians. The radio talk show icon then introduces Brian, the dog the George W Bush at the White House and he is portrayed as a small gnome like creature.

Brian appears to be completely bowled over by Rush Limbaugh but the two begin to argue over some of the principles of the conservatives. Soon Rush Limbaugh realizes that Brian is deep down a liberal dog and sends him back to the Griffin household. There is also a song in the episode which is sung by the cartoon version of Rush Limbaugh and it talks about the tax benefits to the rich, life support for the rich and the invasion of other countries without a valid cause.
