Famed director John Hughes dies at 59
August 7th, 2009 - 5:02 am ICT by adminNEW YORK CITY (BNO NEWS) — Famed director and producer John Hughes, known from movies such as “The Breakfast Club,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Home Alone” and “101 Dalmatians,” died on Thursday morning, a spokeswoman told BNO News.
Hudges “died suddenly of a heart attack while taking a morning walk during a trip to Manhattan to visit family,” Michelle Bega, a spokeswoman for Hughes, said in a statement.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy, two sons, John and James, and four grandchildren.
