New York, Feb 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is a huge campaign going on, in the social networking site Facebook, which wants Betty White to be the host of Saturday Night Live, popularly known as SNL. Till date, over 188,000 people have signed up in support for Betty White to be the host of SNL.

She is the star of the popular show ‘The Golden Girls’ and she also appeared in the Snickers advertisement, during the Super Bowl game on Sunday. Recently she was also awarded the lifetime achievement award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. However, there was no official comment from either Betty White’s representatives, and nor by NBC.

Just last week, we had the “Valentine Day” star Ashton Kutcher on SNL, who set the ball rolling with his funny monologue. Despite being the star of the movie “Valentine Day” he revealed that he doesn’t like the whole concept of Valentine Day at all. He said that he simply hates Valentine Day. And this is because he thinks that every day ought to be romantic, instead of just 1 day in a year. He is married to Demi Moore, and he says that he simply dislikes the concept of just one day, to tell the person whom you love, of how much they mean to you. He thinks that this ought to be done on a more frequent level, rather than on just a single day in a year.
