Los Angeles, April 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) TLC is set to air a new series titled “Extreme Couponing”. The series would follow consumers who go the extra-mile to spend less for their consumables. The first episode would feature Tiffany Ivanovsky who is a mother of seven.

Tiffany said she spent less than $20 on goods worth about $600. Tiffany explained why she gets to spend far less than the typical American shopper. She said, “My shopping trips are probably really strange to people. I’m buying parts of a meal, not the whole meal.”

Tiffany has a blog that advises people on how to save. After a reader read one of her posts, the reader advised her to get in touch with TLC and see if she could be given a deal. She did and four days later she was speaking with the network on coming out with the show.

Tiffany admitted that she was initially reluctant to get on a TV because of the bad comments that sometimes people with large family receive but after considering carefully, she decided it was best that she sign the deal.

The show would be premiering today at 9 p.m.
