It was a very exciting evening for all the die-hard fans of “Twilight” as according to the VMA schedule, a new, extended trailer of the upcoming movie of the “Twilight” series, titled “New Moon” was to premier at the 2009 MTV VMA. All through out the star studded evening, the only one thing that the Twilight fans were looking forward to the most, was the clip hitting the screen.

For the occasion, the leading star cast of the franchise series were present at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on the night of September 13. The hunky Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were all present at the time of the unveiling; and certainly, most would agree that it was worth the eager anticipation. For, the extended trailer clip gave quite a lot of insight in to the movie. As Robert Pattinson said, “..a first look at a movie we’ve been working on for months.”

There had been a considerable hype created around this particular clip in most circles. The clip also manages to successfully keep up to its preceding fame. It offers an insight in to the sequel of the original Twilight, which was one of the blockbusters of last year.

What happens to the character of Robert Pattinson’s vampire impersonation Edward, after he leaves his human love Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart. The clip also traces on how Bella turns to the werewolf Jacob for support and sheds some light on the evil vampires portrayed by Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen.
