Ex-Soulfly Bassist Joins Former Stuck Mojo Frontman
July 26th, 2010 - 4:56 pm ICT by Sampurn WireJuly 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bobby Burns, erstwhile bassist for groove metallers Soulfly, has parted ways with the band, in pursuit of a new musical venture. He reveals the information on his new project, Killer In The Workplace through a video message. The band also features both previous/present members of bands like Stuck Mojo and Primer 55.
He says that he’s been happy to have played for seven years and has co-created a total of four records, not to mention travelled around the world.
He mentions that the departure from the band hasn’t anyway ruined his relationship with Max Cavalera, the iconic frontman of Soulfly. He also says that his departure was inevitable and he’s all good about it.
He simply wishes to concentrate on his new band that’s called Killer In The Workplace. The band is at the moment recording vocals. Killer In The Workplace features Bonz, ex-vocalist of Stuck Mojo, Curt Taylor from Primer 55 on the bass guitars and Brian Jung. Brian is an awesome drummer as Bobby reveals.
