April 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Mihika Verma, Miss India-turned television actress will be seen in D.J”s “Toh Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’. She is visibly very excited about the role which she is executing in the show and according to her it is a totally new experience of doing the things that she will be doing in this show.

What’s new in your role and what is all for the first time? “For the very first time I will be essaying a role of a typical bahu. Previously I’ve been essaying grey shaded roles like hard core negative, the second women or else a college going girl. But for the very first time, I will be essaying a bahu with full clothes and accessories and this too is new to me (laughs).” informs Mihika.

“All I can say about our show is that this show has a very authentic base and not like any exaggerated serials which have no reality in it. ” Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, is also an exception as even though I don’t watch the show, my aunt is the loyal audience for that show and says she like it just because no one is unreal over there and nothing is imaginary ,” adds Verma.

Why Bahu and nothing else? “Frankly speaking, now-a-days the theme on the Indian television is more of a social issue-based serial and hardcore saas-bahu, so I took up a bahu character because this is what will run for longer time or else I will be left unemployed (Laughs)” goes on playfully.

Mihika could not stop by saying, “I was waiting to work with Diya since 2 years as she has offered me one show on Zee Next but as I was totally packed with Virudh I could not give node to her but now finally the dream has come true to work with her. Hope the serial also does well.”

Apart from bahu, tell us something about your character? “No, I can just say a bahu and nothing else on it!”
