Aug 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rock star Marilyn Manson and fiance Evan Rachel Wood have called off their engagement recently. The couple got engaged earlier this year after going through a roller coaster romance that saw them splitting once and coming back together only to split again before finally getting engaged.

Known for his Gothic sense of style, Marilyn Manson has also been in and out of the news for his relationships as well. He started dating Evan Rachel Wood in 2007 while he was still married to Dita Von Teese. The new relationship was no less dramatic as the couple split in 2008. They got back together for a very short time and again split. In the meanwhile both the stars were linked to other celebrities. Eight months ago, however, the rumor mills stopped buzzing as they announced their engagement. Though some gossip mongers may have foreseen the impending break up, the news comes as a shock for many of the rock star’s fans. Considering it was a treat for many to watch their favorite ‘True Blood’ star along side their favorite rocker, the split’s longevity too has been speculated by many.

A few days ago, Marilyn Manson was also seen walking into a party with a new mystery woman. Though the identity of the woman and the relationship between the two is unclear, the web went abuzz with the reports that the woman was the new one in Marilyn Manson’s life. Some of the photos of the party indicate that the two were involved in an intense conversation and also sat very close to each other. This had set the rumor mills rolling.
