Erykah Badu Charged For Controversial “Window Seat” Video

char1Dallas, Apr 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Its seems that the buzz surrounding the “Window Seat” video by much acclaimed singer Erykah Badu is going to remain in the limelight for some time as the musical artist has been charged by the Dallas police for shedding her clothes in the much talked about music video, reports claim. It has been revealed that officials in Dallas, where the controversial video was shot has levied charges of disorderly conduct against Erykah Badu for filming the nude video.

According to reports, Sergeant Warren Mitchell has divulged to the media, that the charges were levied against the singer after a witness tendered a written statement to the police authorities on Thursday which propelled the cops to file the charges against the musical artist. However, the 32 year old witness Ida Espinosa has refused to comment on the matter when approached by media sources. Moreover, Sergeant Warren Mitchell also emphasized that concerned individuals from various quarters had been calling the department in order to express their alarm about the music video. Authorities have also revealed that the singer is free to take legal steps against the charges or pay the fine of $500 in the case.

Erykah Badu had shot the controversial video on March 13 in down town Dallas and she the video proceeded she gradually dropped off all her clothing although the street was supposedly filled with tourists as well as pedestrians. The video reaches its conclusion as the singer collapses on the ground completely naked after being hit by a bullet at the site where President John F. Kennedy was shot. Although in the video nudity has been blurred, it has generated widespread attention.
