Los Angeles, May 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” has at last reached its finale and on Monday three dance couples went on for their last dance off round. The final three celebrities Erin Andrews, Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek took to the stage to perform two dances along with their respective partners and though Nicole Scherzinger and Erin Andrews went on for a tie at the top, Evan Lysacek, the Olympic gold medal winning skater slipped to the third position last night. The couples went on to perform a freestyle routine dance and a “redemption dance”. Each couple put the stage on fire with their performances and the judges were all praise for them.

Erin Andrews and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy went on to woo the audience and the judges with their samba under the “redemption dance” category and managed not only to get the highest scores of the night but also the praises of the judges for their improvement. For their Samba, Erin Andrews and her partner received 29 out of 30. Judge Len Goodman praised the couple by saying that they have improved a lot from their last samba performance. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba too endowed the couple with a ten. For their freestyle dance routine the couple got some sexy moves and used a sofa and a bed as props.

For Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough’s samba, the judges gave 28 out of 30 and Bruno Tonioli praised their attempt by saying “sensuality and romance seamlessly woven into something of extreme beauty”. Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebenskaya though got 28 for their redemptive Viennese waltz; their faltering step in freestyle earned them only 24. The couple could only manage 52 out of the total 60. However, nothing could yet be said of the final results as the judges’ scores are combined with that of the viewers votes.
