Los Angeles, July 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Eric Roberts has checked himself into the Celebrity Rehab, claims the latest reports from Hollywood. Better known as the brother of actress Julia Roberts, Eric Roberts was earlier arrested for the possession of illegal drugs like cocaine and marijuana. However nothing has been specified about the addiction for which Eric Roberts, also a Hollywood actor, got himself admitted to the Celebrity Rehab.

Eric Roberts has had a bad history with the police officials. After being caught red handed for the possession of drugs like marijuana and cocaine, the actor was accused of assaulting a police officer. During the 90s Eric Roberts also got involved in a legal battle over charges of domestic violence. In fact it was this reason that led to the deterioration of his relationship with sister Julia Roberts, while the latter was in support of Eric Roberts’ girlfriend taking possession of their daughter Emma Roberts, Eric Roberts did not want such a thing to happen. Eric Roberts joins the likes of Rachel Uchitel, Janice Dickinson, Leif Garrett and Jeremy London inside the Celebrity Rehab house.

Eric Roberts has been a part of many well known films of Hollywood, some of which are “The Dark Knight”, “Heroes” and “Runaway Train”, a film which won him an Oscar nomination for the best supporting actor. Nothing has been specified about which addiction Eric Roberts is to kick off inside Celebrity Rehab. Jeremy London, also housed at the Celebrity Rehab says that he is very happy at the arrival of Eric Roberts in the rehabilitation house as the older brother of Julia Roberts is a very dear friend of his and they will be sharing the same room at the rehab.
