Eric Johnson And Jessica Simpson Engaged, Joe Simpson Congratulates The Couple

Nov 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jessica Simpson, the singing sensation of America is ready to exchange vows for the second time in her life. The singer cum actress and her beau, NFL player Eric Johnson released a joint statement last week where it was stated that the couple is excited to share the news with the media that they are “engaged”. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are dating since last May and the couple reportedly got engaged on November 11.
The representative of Jessica Simpson said that the couple is presently thrilled to share the news with the media. Previously in one of her interviews Jessica Simpson said that her boyfriend Eric Johnson is “supportive” and she could not have asked for a better person than him. Jessica Simpson said that she is planning to spend her Thanksgiving Day with Eric Johnson in New York as she feels the best way to celebrate is spending time with family. The voluptuous singer did not comment anything about her wedding date though she seemed excited and happy when she flaunted her engagement ring at her department store appearance in Kansas City on Saturday. The ring comprises of ruby and diamond and it is designed by Neil Lane.
It seems that Jessica Simpson’s father Joe Simpson is happy for his daughter who is all set of starting a new chapter in her life. Joe Simpson wrote on a social networking site to express his joy where he blessed his daughter and Eric Johnson a lifetime of “joy and happiness”. Pete Wentz, Jessica Simpson’s brother-in-law reportedly said that Eric Johnson is a “smart” person and the “Do You Know” singer loves him. Jessica Simpson was previously married to Nick Lachey and the couple divorced in 2006.
