New York, March 30 (ANI): Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias reportedly pulled out of Britney Spears’ tour just hours after it was announced.
The 29-year-old “Hold It Against Me” singer made the announcement while backstage at her pre-taped San Francisco show for “Good Morning America,” which aired on ABC Tuesday morning.
But according to Billboard, on the afternoon itself Iglesias, who was set to take part in the full production rather than simply performing an opening act, pulled out of the Live Nation-produced concert, reports the New York Daily News.
Iglesias’ reps could not be reached for comment.
The news puts a damper on Spears’ whirwling promotional tour for “Femme Fatale,” which hit a fever pitch on “GMA” when she sang “HIAM,” “Big Fat Bass” and “Till the World Ends” while wearing the same costumes she premiered at a Las Vegas show Friday. (ANI)
