Emma Watson quits college
March 8th, 2011 - 9:57 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Emma Watson has taken some time off her studies at Brown University to concentrate on her acting career for now. She has not completely closed the door on education though.
The 21-year-old ‘Harry Potter’ star announced on her website that she intends to concentrate on filming the last edition of the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise. ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’ is set for release in the summer. Emma has been in every Harry Potter movie since 2001 playing Hermione Granger.
Emma explained why she had to put school on hold for now. She wrote on her website that, “I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.”
She enrolled at the university in September of 2009. She was pursuing a four-year degree course in the school and still had some two years to go. She has however promised that she would be back in school to get her college degree later on.
Emma thanked her fans for the support that they have been giving her.
