Aug 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson has recently chopped off her long curls and the actress was seen sporting her new hairdo while strolling on the streets of New York City. The actress looked quite comfortable in her new haircut and she even posted a photo of her in the homepage of her social networking site where she stated that she feels “amazing” with her new super short pixie cut. As per opinion polls conducted by several web portals, the actress received appreciation from her fans as they liked her new fashion statement.

Emma Watson recently posted her photo in a reputed social networking site and along with it she attached a statement for her fans to make them aware that the Burberry model has chopped off her tresses and it is the most “liberating” thing she has ever done in her life. She addressed her fans in her homepage of the social networking site where she wrote that she feels incredible by getting rid of her ponytail and she loves it. The 20 year old actress even said that she wanted to go for a haircut for years and years but could not find an opportunity.

Hermione Granger of “Harry Potter” also added that when she went for a haircut, the stylist grabbed the back of her hair and took a “whole ponytail of haircut”. The actress also revealed that given she was came onto limelight of Hollywood at a very early age, she could not experiment with her hair as most of the teenagers do. She thought this was the right chance for her. The actress will again appear on the silver screen to woo her fans with her next project “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1″ which is all set to release on November 19, 2010.
