London, July 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After completing her task on the Harry Potter franchise with the release of the final installment “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2,” Emma Watson has set her sights on other challenges. The actress who famously played Hermione Granger in the franchise is reportedly marked for several projects including Guillermo Del Toro’s new adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast.”

Producer Denise Di Novi (”Crazy, Stupid, Love”) during an interview with ComingSoon.net revealed that Watson is one of the stars being considered for a role in the adaption of the children’s story. Watson is already lined up to appear in the movies “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” and “My Week With Marilyn.”

It will be a new challenge for Watson as she steps out of the Hermione shell as an actress. During an interview with the Vogue magazine last month, Watson admitted that, “I’m literally rediscovering what it means to be an actress.”

Watson is going back to Brown University in 2012. The British actress left the university earlier in the year saying she wanted to concentrate on her career as an actress. She has since enrolled at the Oxford University but she told The Virginian-Pilot that she will be back at Brown in 2012.
