Emma Thompson Wants To Take Break From Work

August 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): British actress Emma Thompson, who recently got a star on the “Hollywood Walk of Fame’, has decided to take a short-time break from work. The Oscar winning star and screenwriter will not take up any new project from next year.
Thompson says, “I am going to take some time off next year. I will not get involved in any kind of fund raising activity or do any performance except spending some good time with my family.”
She added, “I have been planning to take this break for a long time. Now, it will be like applying brakes to a large ship as lots of things are going on.”
The actress has admitted of suffering from mild depression. She said that the job she does is very demanding emotionally and it has left her at no mental ease, which is very common. People usually don’t talk about it but Emma thinks it should be discussed as this kind of talk remains under the wraps.
Emma wants to spend some good time with her daughter Gaia and her adopted son Tindyebwa.
Well, this is a very wise decision on her part because the celebrities like her hardly get any break to be with their families!
